Overview
As any good puzzle, the Bible requires searching for the pieces of the puzzle that go in the right place. Each piece fills in a bit of the picture. Each component within the puzzle, I think of a complete doctrine, as all doctrines are related with each other and reveal something about God. What picture do we see? It is an image of the lengths and breadth and depth of God's love for humanity. That picture is a picture of Jesus and what He did for every person who has ever lived. Whether they take that gift or not is up to them.
"And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
"But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken." Isaiah 28:13
Jesus taught in parables, prophecies use symbols, metaphors are abundant. Peter says some will twist the Scriptures to their own destruction (2 Peter 3:16).
Yet God wants us to understand His word, so He offers all we need: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:5
